ILE ET-3 Tensile Tester

ILE testers are designed for testing that requires high accuracy on a tight budget. The ILE-ET3 provides general purpose testing to ASTM, ISO, BS and other world standards. The system includes a Test stand, Menu driven handheld touchpad, and S-Block load cell. Sample Holders are sold separately.

The variable speed stand has up/down/stop motor control, crosshead jog, emergency stop, speed dial, and high speed return. Test Stand capacities available to 5000 pounds with Speed range to 30 inches per minute. All stands offer an 8 inch working width with an unlimited working depth and up to 40 inches of travel.

The Menu driven handheld touchpad displays force, elongation, test stand direction and speed, limit switch warnings, and error messages. Force and elongation can be displayed at either peak or break value. Force can be set to readout in pounds, kilograms,Newtons, grams, or ounces. Elongation can be set to read out in inches, centimeters, or millimeters.  Limits can be set to stop the test at a specific force or certain distance.
